Plans revealed to replace "outdated" Broadmoor Hospital

Its Victorian walls are almost as well known as the criminals its housed - but after 150 years, Berkshire's Broadmoor Hospital has been deemed unfit for purpose. Almost 250 million pounds is being spent to build a modern facility next to the original site in Crowthorne. People living close to the high-security hospital have now been given the opportunity to see the redevelopment plans. Kate Bunkall reports.


Pensioner tells of attack - full report

A pensioner has been reliving the terrifying moment she was attacked in her own home in Berkshire.

Veronica Manser had gone outside to check her postbox. When she returned the robber was waiting. She was attacked - thrown to the floor - fracturing her hip.

She's been in hospital for almost a month and tomorrow will be her 85th birthday. Divya Kohli has this exclusive report and speaks to Veronica, her daughter Sue Coffy and Det Con Alex Hillan of Thames Valley Police.
