Standoff: Demolition teams prepare to tear down house

A developer who built a house without proper planning permission has been given an 11th hour reprieve when the council turned up to tear it down. Police and demolition teams arrived at the property in Strood this morning but after a tense stand-off with family members, the owner was given ten more days to appeal to the courts. If he losses, the property will be flattened. Sarah Saunders spoke to neighbours and Medway Council's Richard Hicks.
