Labour's Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader Harriet Harman has been hosting a Question and Answer session with the party's candidate for the Eastleigh by-election. Harman joined John O'Farrell in hosting a Q&A session with students at Barton Peveril College in Hampshire.
The DIY retailer B&Q has released a statement after announcing that 220 jobs will go at their company head office in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

The new structure includes many new and different roles and changes to ways of working to ensure that B&Q is building sustainable jobs for the future and planning for growth.
As a result of the new structure, 100 new head office roles are being created but there will be 220 redundancies, and these people are being consulted today.
B&Q is doing everything it can for those people who are affected today including enhanced redundancy packages, which go way beyond statutory requirements.
220 jobs are being cut at Hampshire based DIY firm B&Q. The company says the posts will be lost from its head office in Eastleigh but 100 new roles will also be created as it looks to build sustainable jobs for the future.
Eastleigh Borough Council has now officially bought the Rose Bowl site in West End - home to Hampshire County Cricket ground.
They plan to develop the site with a hotel, spa, golf course and leisure complex in a project costing £48 million pounds.
The former Rose Bowl company had run into financial difficulties which had threatened its future.
