Patients and staff at a doctors' surgery in Surrey are in shock today after a man in his eighties shot himself there.
It happened at the Station road Surgery in Frimley near Camberley just after eleven o'clock this morning. Surrey Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Our reporter Mel Bloor is at the scene and has the latest.

Surrey Police was called to a doctor's surgery in Station Road, Frimley just before 11am this morning following reports of a sudden death. Officers and other emergency services attended the location after reports that a firearm had been discharged inside the building.
The body of a man, believed to be in his 80's, was discovered at the scene, where he was pronounced dead. Officers are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death but at this stage there is no indication of any third party involvement or wider risk to the local community."

"Officers are currently in attendance at a location in Frimley following a report of a sudden death of a man. A cordon is in place at the surgery in Station Road after officers were called to the scene just before 11am.
An investigation is currently underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident."
