Police in Worthing say a flat fire in which a man died is not being treated as suspicious. Emergency crews were called to the home in Gratwicke Road at 5.15am this morning. The man's body is believed to be that of a 62-year occupant. Investigations show the fire was not deliberately ignited.
Firefighters at Gratwicke Road in Worthing in earlier today, where a man's body was discovered in a first-floor flat. People were evacuated from houses on either side. Police think the fire started in the flat and are investigating the cause. There are no reports of any other casualties.
