Sussex students help victims of Hurricane Irma

It's almost three months since Hurricane Irma ripped through the Caribbean, devastating islands like Barbuda.

Hundreds of people remain homeless, and rebuilding shattered communities will take years.

Now, a group of Caribbean students studying at a school in Sussex have raised thousands of pounds to help that work, as Malcolm Shaw reports.

Kent woman's family in makeshift shelter as hurricane approaches

A Kent woman with family living in the path of Hurricane Irma - due to hit Florida this weekend - has told how they're holed up in a makeshift shelter, fearing for their lives.

The hurricane - the size of France - has already battered the Dominican Republic and the British Virgin Islands and is now speeding towards the Bahamas, Cuba and Florida. Miami is expected to bear the brunt of the storm this weekend.
