An elderly man is being questioned on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Sussex. Mary Saunders, who was 71, was found dead in her flat in Hove yesterday morning by paramedics. Police say that a mercy-killing is one line of inquiry.

The 71 year old was discovered by police and paramedics in her bedroom at King George VIMansions, Court Farm Road in Hove.
An 85-year old man was taken from the address to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment for minor injuries and has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is still in custody for interview andfurther enquiries.
