Thousands to meet race horses and trainers in Lambourn Valley
Thousands are expected at stables across Berkshire to meet race horses and their trainers

Over 10,000 people are expected to meet race horses and trainers in Berkshire today.
Stables throughout the Lambourn Valley have opened their doors to the public so they can get an unique insight into how the racing industry really works.
Many of the stables have special exhibits and some demonstrations, including horses using hydrotherapy pools.

Injured jockeys on the road to rehabilitation
Now, it can happen to even the most professional jockey - being thrown from a horse during a race. Sadly for some, it can mean the end of a career.
But now a specialist centre in West Berkshire is not only helping to rehabilitate injured jockeys, but also teach riders how to stay safe in the saddle as Asana Greenstreet reports.
