Wearing only suncream and helmets - dozens of naked cyclists took part in a bike ride around Southsea and Portsmouth today to highlight bike safety and green issues.

If you were out and about in Portsmouth and Southsea this afternoon you would have seen the unusual sight of dozens of naked cyclists. The three mile route was being peddled to highlight bike safety and green issues.
Around one thousand cyclists are taking part in a naked cycle through Brighton this afternoon. They finish at the naturist beach. It's the seventh year it's being held in Brighton and Hove.
Hundreds of nude cyclists are to ride through Brighton. It's part of a worldwide campaign to raise awareness of the vulnerability of cyclists on the roads.
Naked riders are also being invited to make a triathlon of the day, with a naked fun run to start the day, and a post-ride skinny dip at Brighton's naturist beach.
