Defence Secretary Philip Hammond is at RAF Odiham meeting personnel who served on operational detachments to Afghanistan and viewing the newly-into-service Chinook Mk 4 helicopter.
During his visit, Mr Hammond will also unveil a Chinook 'gate guardian' - a retired Chinook to the station.
