A Royal Marine Commando will abseil with the Olympic flame into the Tower of London today as it passes through Surrey and Kent.
The Olympic torch arrives in Surrey today. It will travel from the east of the county to Guildford, with the main ceremony at Stoke Park.
HMS Exploit will act as ceremonial escort for the Olympic Flame across the Solent.
The online auction site has thirteen London 2012 torches up for grabs. Bids vary from £10 to £150,000. Some of those offering the torches for sale have not yet run their stage of the nationwide relay. Details of when the torch arrives in our region can be found here.
