A community has shown their support to postal workers on strike in Kent today.
Scores of local residents joined the Royal Mail employees at the delivery office in Whitstable.

Postal workers in Whitstable will go on strike today over plans to close their delivery office and move it to Canterbury.
They claim homeowners will have a longer trip into the city to pick up any undelivered mail.
Closing the Whitstable office is part or Royal Mail's £70 million plans to modernise services in Kent.
They say during a 6 month consultation period no objection was made to re-locating the Whitstable office and they don't expect it to have an impact on deliveries.
