In her first visit to Kent, the Duchess of Cambridge has visited the 'Expanding Horizons' Primary School Scheme at Widehorizons Margaret McMillan House.
She met children from ARK's King Solomon Academy Primary and joined in their activities, including making a shelter, fire building and cooking.

The fire broke out in Furnace Road in Furnace, Crawley, shortly after lunch.
As a precaution a 200 metre cordon was put in place. The cause of the fire, which damaged 50 per cent of the building is being investigated.

Kent Police are concerned for 52-year-old Nicholas Cott who is missing from his home in Eastry near Sandwich. He was last seen on Friday morning. He did not pick up his son from school in the afternoon and his disappearance is described as out of character. He is 5ft 8ins tall with brown hair.
Some of the findings of a Health & Safety Executive report into a school accident have been exclusively revealed to ITV Meridian. It follows an incident three years ago where a heating duct collapsed on top of 150 children at a school in Kent while they were sitting their exams. John Ryall reports.
