Motorcyclist seriously injured in A2 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Kent.

Emergency services were called to the A2 at Bean on Wednesday morning. A black Honda motorcycle and a Nissan Qashqai collided on the London-bound carriageway of the A2.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50’s from the Sittingbourne area is currently in a serious condition in a London hospital.

Hours of delays on M25 following crash

Driver are being warned of long delays on the M25 at Kent following a crash involving a lorry and a car.

Police were called at 3:46am to a report of a road traffic collision on the clockwise M25 at junction 2. The car and lorry collided then the car hit the central reservation.

One man in the car has suffered serious injuries. Three further people have suffered minor injuries. All have been taken to hospital for treatment.

The clockwise carriageway remains closed while officers continue their enquiries.

Serious crash in Whitstable

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious crash on the A290 at Pean Hill in Whitstable.

A red Ford Fiesta travelling in the direction of Canterbury is reported to have left the road at about 4.55am this morning.

The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries. No other vehicles were involved.

Motorcyclist suffers serious head injures in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash involving a motorcycle and a bicycle on The Avenue in Southampton in the early hours of this morning.

Two motorcycles were travelling north along The Avenue when one of them collided with the bicycle, which was travelling north and turning right into Highfield Road.

The 22-year-old man riding the motorcycle has sustained serious head injuries and the 22-year-old woman riding the bicycle has two broken legs.

Man taken to hospital after serious crash

Officers investigating a serious collision in Marden are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A lorry and a Land Rover collided in Staplehurst Road, approximately 300 metres away from junction with Summerhill Road early this morning

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, has since been taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.

The lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Man in life threatening condition after crash

A man is in hospital in a life threatening condition following a crash in Andover.

At about 5.55am this morning a black Nissan Almera Tino was involved in a collision with a Black Peugeot moped in Weyhill Road.

The driver of the moped, a man in his 60s, has been taken to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke with life-threatening injuries.

The road is closed between the 100 Acre Roundabout and north to East Portway Road, whilst officers investigate.

Driver in critical condition after crash

Officers investigating a serious collision near Whitstable are appealing for witnesses.

Kent Police were called to the coast-bound carriageway of the A299 Thanet Way, just before the Whitstable slip road, at 1.26am on Friday 7 August.

A 30-year-old man, who lives locally is in critical condition after the red Rover 218 he was driving collided with the nearside barrier and overturned.

He suffered serious head injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to a London hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for witnesses to the collision.

At least 6 involved in serious collision

A stretch of the A37 at Grimstone near Dorchester has been closed following a very serious injury two vehicle road traffic collision.

The collision took place at around 10.16pm this evening, Friday 8 May 2015, three miles north of Grimstone on Break Heart Hill.

A section of the A37 between Hollywell crossroads and Long Ash Lane has been closed and traffic is being diverted along the A356. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

Dorset Police, Dorset Fire and Rescue Service and South West Ambulance Service are at the scene. The road is likely to remain closed overnight and into tomorrow while collision investigators carry out a thorough examination of the scene.

At least six people are thought to be involved. Injuries are not known at this stage.
