Millions of people will be on the move over the next few days to be in a position to join in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee bank holiday celebrations.
Heathrow is expected to handle 2.9 million passengers in the next few weeks, with 780,000 overseas travellers due to arrive between now and Tuesday.
The Airport is laying red carpet in arrivals halls and Jubilee and Union flags will be handed to passengers.
Meanwhile, on the roads, the Highways Agency has suspended some roadworks, although some will remain in place for safety reasons.
Busy spots are likely to include the A303 from the M3 through Hampshire, and in Wiltshire.
Train companies will be providing additional trains or carriages at times to cope with those visiting the capital for Jubilee events.
