Statement from Buckinghamshire Healthcare
The NHS Trust which runs Stoke Mandeville Hospital has issued a statement following the announcement that a The Jimmy Savile Stoke Mandeville Hospital Charitable Trust is to close.

Savile charity 'will live on'
The Trustees of the Jimmy Savile Stoke Mandeville Hospital Charitable Trust have released a statement on their website saying that "Jimmy's charitable trust will live on as he wished".
It's understood that the charity's funds are to be redistributed as it closes because of the association with the former BBC presenter.
