The boy, missing after being swept out to sea, is reported to be 14-year-old Dylan Alkins. A helicopter and lifeboat search was launched. Dylan had been playing with a friend yesterday afternoon. He disappeared under the waves.

Service suspended on First Great Western between Basingstoke and Reading due to obstruction on the line.
"Following the overnight storms, we, along with Network Rail, have now started to assess the damage to our route.Currently, there are a large number of trees obstructing lines, which need to be cleared before we are able to prove the route, and start running passenger services.Southern and Gatwick Express services will therefore not start operating at 0900 as previously hoped.
