Coastguards warn public of landslips threat in Dorset

The Coastguard is warning people to keep away from beaches in Dorset affected by landslides.
Today's brighter weather has attracted sightseers to beaches near Lyme Regis, on Portland and in Swanage where recent wet weather has left cliffs unstable and in some cases collapsing. But the warning is being largely ignored, as Richard Slee reports.
Coastguards in Dorset are warning the public to heed warnings about staying off beaches where there is the threat of a landslip from the cliffs above. The recent wet weather has made some cliff edges vulnerable to mudslides.
Part of the beach at Swanage has been closed off, but coastguards have observed some members of the public ignoring the warnings.
