Romsey Police are investigating the theft of 116 tyres valued at more than £15,000.
The tyres were stolen on Wednesday 18th December between 3am and 6am in Nursling Industrial Estate in Southampton.
The thieves gained access to a sealed container at premises in Test Lane and the tyres are all Michelin brand.
PC Lindsay Miell said: "The quantity of the stolen property means that the offenders must have used a container-sized lorry or two vans to remove the tyres.
“Police need to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who heard or saw anything suspicious. We also need to hear from any individual or business that is offered new Michelin tyres for a much reduced price.”
