Hundreds of people flocked to an art sale with a difference in Margate this afternoon.
The "art car boot" event saw new works from an array of local artists alongside those from big names including Margate's own Tracey Emin; Jim Moir - otherwise known as Vic Reeves - and Sir Peter Blake. The sale is a chance for the public to buy art directly from its creator.

More than 100 lots went on display this morning at an auction house at Westenhanger railway station near Folkestone. The Principal Auctioneer and Valuer is The TV Antiques expert Michael Hogben. Andrea Thomas has been to take a look at the collection.
