A 75-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a collision on the A26, Eridge Road, Crowborough.
Emergency services were called to an area north of the Boars Head Inn at around 5.50pm yesterday, 12th November, after reports that a grey Mercedes travelling north had hit a pedestrian.

The Mercedes driver, a 72-year-old man from Wadhurst was uninjured.
45 firefighters are at a blaze at a listed property in Wadhurst in Sussex. A neighbour phoned 999 at midday after spotting smoke coming from the roof area of the two floor house.
