Owners to be forced to give up pier
The owners of Hastings pier could be forced to relinquish control of it after they failed to start repair work. The Victorian pier was ravaged by fire following an arson attack in 2010. Hastings Borough Council is expected to issue Ravenclaw Investment with a compulsory purchase order.
