Thames Valley Police has repeated its appeal for witnesses in connection with a shooting in Aylesbury yesterday.
Officers were called to an address in Stour Close shortly before 10am after members of the public reported hearing three gunshots.
On arrival they discovered a 33-year-old man who had sustained gunshot wounds to his arms and head.
The man was taken to hospital where he has undergone surgery and remains in a critical condition.
No arrests have so far been made.
