Members of 23 Pioneer Regiment prepare to parade through Oxford Credit: ITV Meridian

Members of the 23 Pioneer Regiment are parading through the streets of Oxford. 450 soldiers are taking part in the homecoming parade. Many of them have recently returned from service in Afghanistan.

The unit normally marches through Bicester, but the redevelopment of the town centre means that the march is taking place in Oxford for the first time since 2006.
