ITV Meridian's cameras have been invited to take a look around Maidstone's new history and library centre ahead of its opening on April 23rd.
The centre will house an amazing 40,000 books and cost £12 million to build.
The centre will also have a huge wealth of archive documents, photographs, maps and records about the county's history to make sure they survive for future generations. It has been purpose built to protect and display many more archives than has ever been available to the public.
The children's library will host regular storytime, baby bounce and rhyme sessions.
