Two motorcyclists have been seriously injured following a collision in Wickham. The crash, involving a moped and a 1300cc motorbike, happened just off the A32 at the junction of Wykeham Field and School Road at 7.45pm last night.
The moped rider, a teenage boy, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham where he remains in a critical condition.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, sustained potentially life threatening injuries. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he also remains.
School Road is closed at its junction with Bridge Street and Fareham Road while investigators examine the scene.
