Police say they are linking the theft of cigarettes from a shop in Whitstable at the weekend to a previous break-in at a petrol station last month.
Two men broke into the Co-op in Canterbury Road in the early hours of Sunday and took a large number of cigarettes. It follows a similar theft from a service station on Borstal Hill on April 16.
