Fraud gang ringleader from Kent

Police have revealed a multi million pound fraud ring in which gang members were providing documents for customers to create fake identities - some of whom were making in excess of £1 million from the illegal scheme.

Jason Place, who's from Gravesend and ran the scheme, has been jailed for six years and nine months for conspiracy to defraud. Mark Powell-Richards, a credit broker and antiques dealer from Bickley in Kent, was sentenced to two years and three months for conspiracy to defraud.

Allen Stringer was charged for the same term and charge, while Michael Daly from Erith in Kent was sentenced to 12 months suspended for two years and ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid community service.
