Islanders helping revellers

Local residents on the Isle of Wight have launched a special website to offer assistance to festival goers who have camped in muddy fields. Offers of clothing, spare tents and free gardens are flooding into the site from concerned local people.

Music fans leave festival island

Campers are leaving the Isle of Wight Festival after a weekend of music and mud. Extra police and 4 by 4s have been drafted in to help people leave the site. But the row continues after festival-goers faced traffic chaos when they arrived last week.
