Joanne Rout does Crowborough proud

Watch Joanne Rout as she carries the Olympic flame through Crowborough.

Joanne is Britain's youngest ever Paralympian after swimming at the 1988 Seoul Paralympics where she won two Gold medals and three silvers aged just twelve.

Joanne is now a volunteer at the local leisure centre where she gives up her free time to develop the swimming and lifesaving skills of the youngsters in the area,

Joanne does all this in spite of her physical disability and ongoing health issues.
