The stolen rucksack is described as a light green Berghaus bag. It contained a black leather wallet containing bank cards, a driving licence and £350 in cash, a Samsung Laptop valued at around £400, a Sony Video camera valued at around £200 and various items, such as nappies, for the children.
The main offender is described as: white, aged around 25, around 6ft, stocky build. He had medium length blond hair with a fringe covering one of his eyes. He had a spotty complexion and stubble.
He was wearing a bright red hooded top with 'NO FEAR' written on the front and blue jeans with a rip at the knee area. He was riding a BMX type bike.
I would like to speak with anybody who may have any information in relation to this incident. Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Have you found any of the stolen items discarded in the area or have you been offered any of them for sale? Fortunately this is a rare crime at this location but as always I would urge members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
