Essex shop owner praised for tackling robber
A shop owner from Shoeburyness has been given a Police bravery award after he was injured as he pinned a robber to the ground.
David Leeks, 23 , was stabbed in the head with a chisel as he wrestled to get the man into a headlock during the raid last January.
33 year old Martin Dennington was jailed for 4 years for robbery.
