Teenager killed in hit-and-run

A 14-year-old boy has been killed in a suspected hit-and-run in Kent.

Police are hunting for the driver of a grey Fiat Bravo who knocked the boy off his bike on the A2 London Road in Sittingbourne shortly after 9pm last night.

Police have confirmed the name of a teenager killed in fatal 'hit and run' collision in Bapchild, Sittingbourne.

14-year-old Kyle Coen was riding his silver bicycle on the A2 London Road near Bapchild Cricket Club, towards Faversham, when he was hit from behind by the car.

It is understood that the car continued to travel in the direction of Teynham.

A 27-year-old woman and a 23 year old man are helping police with their enquiries following the collision which took place near Sittingbourne at about 9.15pm last night.

In addition, the grey Fiat Bravo, believed to have been involved, has been recovered close to the scene of the incident.
