Two die in motorbike and car crash
Two people have died after a crash between a motorcycle and a car on the Isle of Wight, police said.
The collision happened just after 11pm on Tuesday night on Lushington Hill at its junction with Park Road in Wootton Common.
The rider of the motorcycle and the driver of the car, whose ages and sexes have not been revealed, were pronounced dead, a spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said.
The road was closed for more than six hours but has since reopened, according to local travel reports.
