Families mourn dead soldiers

The servicemen will be flown into RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. Private ceremonies for their families will be held on the air base before the cortege leaves via the Britannia Gate on its way to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The bodies of 3 soldiers killed in Afghanistan will be returned to the UK later. The families of Lieutenant Andrew Chesterman, Lance Corporal Matthew Smith and Guardsman Jamie Shadrake will lead the tributes to them in Carterton.
