Drivers are being advised to avoid the roads around Brand Hatch racing circuit in Kent as closures come into affect due to the Paralympics. Athletes start using the venue for training from today, which is why the closures have come into affect two days before the start of competition.
A20 at Gorse Hill: from south of Eglantine Road to south of Brands Hatch entrance will be closed except for access.
Scratchers Lane, Fawkham: from its junction with A20 London Road throughout its entire length to its junction with Fawkham Road will be closed with restricted access.
- Part of Fawkham Road, West Kingsdown: between Scratchers Lane and a rear entrance to Brands Hatch will be closed with restricted access.
