Police are appealing for witnesses after the distraction burglary of a 92-year-old woman in Gosport on Thursday, August 30.
A man knocked on the door of the pensioner's home in Anns Hill Road pretending to know the victim - who is partially deaf and blind.
Once inside he asked for a cup of tea and, while she was making it, took money from her handbag and left.
The suspect is described as white, 5ft 3 to 5ft 4 tall, 20 to 30-years-old with short dark hair, medium build and wearing dark coloured clothing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Staff Investigator Dye at Gosport police station by phoning 101 or Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
