First photos: Police guard shooting scene
Sussex Police officers have cordoned off an area in North Way, Seaford, after a man was shot by armed officers in the early hours. There was an exchange of shots between a 62-year-old local man and police. He is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. Two officers were also slightly injured.
