Police have launched a murder investigation in Bournemouth after a man died from head and chest injuries.
The victim, believed to be aged in his thirties, was found seriously injured on Saturday.
He was found at an address along Poole Road in Westbourne.
He was taken to Poole Hospital with head and chest injuries and then transferred to Southampton General Hospital where he later died.
The dead man has not yet been formally identified. Next of kin are aware and the Coroner has been notified.
A cordon has been put in place at the property while a forensic examination is taking place. A 37-year-old Bournemouth man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is helping officers with their enquiries.
