A teenager has been arrested after an imitation firearm was found near a Berkshire school.
Police were called at around 12.30pm after reports that a man had been seen in vehicle in the car park of Little Heath School in Tilehurst holding what was believed to be a firearm.
Police started a large scale operation in response to the incident.
Officers located the vehicle and found what is believed to be an imitation firearm in the glove-box. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested.
