Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted burglary at a house in Roman Road, Basingstoke.
Shortly before 4.30pm on 3rd October 2012, a 36-year-old woman returned home from work and, once inside, saw a man running out of the driveway.
She checked and found that a window in the conservatory at the back of the house had been smashed.
It appears that the would-be-burglar was disturbed and nothing appears to have been taken. Did you see anything suspicious in the Roman Road area? It’s believed the offender ran off towards Kenilworth Road.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Pullman at Basingstoke Police Station on 101 or call the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
