A man has been sentenced to two years in jail after two people were assaulted in an Eastbourne van.
Paul Nicholls, 50, from Catford in London, was sentenced at Hove Crown Court after being found guilty of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and having a knife in a public place.
A man and a woman were attacked by Nicholls through the window of their stationery van in Channel View Road, Eastbourne, on January 31st.
The 36-year-old male victim received several deep lacerations to his face, arms and hands. The 36-year-old female victim suffered a broken finger.
