Challenge to export ban could reach courts next week
Animal exporters are challenging Thanet Council's attempts to suspend the export of live animals in the courts next week, it's believed.
Campanies Onderwater, Lomas and Peter Z have called for an injunction to force Thanet Council to reopen the port for live exports until a full judicial review.
Kent Action Against Live Exports and other groups say they are urging campaigners and residents to express their anger - and support the council in their fight to permanently ban the trade.
