In a rather peculiar exchange in the House of Commons today, Banbury MP Sir Tony Baldry, in his role as Second Church Estates Commissioner, admitted that the body of King Henry I has been lost and is presumed to be somewhere in Reading.
The revelation came when he was asked if the remains of Richard III - discovered recently under a car park in Leicester - will be given a proper funeral at Leicester Cathedral.
