Wallop Defence Systems has been sentenced at Winchester Crown Court after a worker died in an explosion in June 2006. Anthony Sheridan, 37, was killed in the blast.
A defence firm has been sentenced today for health and safety breaches that led to the death of a worker six years ago. Anthony Sheridan died in a factory explosion in June 2006 at Wallop Defence Systems in Over Wallop. The firm has been fined £266,000 and ordered to pay costs of £110,000.
