A 75-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a collision on the A26, Eridge Road, Crowborough.
Emergency services were called to an area north of the Boars Head Inn at around 5.50pm yesterday, 12th November, after reports that a grey Mercedes travelling north had hit a pedestrian.
We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet come forward to please do so. We would also like to hear from you if you saw the Mercedes prior to the collision. Please dial 101 quoting Op Edgeley if you can assist with our enquiries."
The Mercedes driver, a 72-year-old man from Wadhurst was uninjured.
