A former coma patient has abseiled down a 14-storey building today to raise money for other people with brain damage. Luke Mitchell from Herne Bay in Kent suffered severe head injuries after falling down stairs. He was in coma for three months after the accident three years ago.

He has raised about £300 for the charity Headway. The intrepid fundraiser spoke to Meridian about what prompted him to take on the challenge.
