Thames Valley Police have failed to identify a man found dead on a canal boat in Oxfordshire.
The human remains were found following a fire onboard the boat moored on the canal near to the Peartree Roundabout at Wolvercote on November the 16th.
Det Insp Mike Lynch, leading the investigation, said: "We have been working hard to positively identify the person involved. We have so far established the human remains were from the body of an adult male."
The owner of the boat was earlier this week named as 49-year-old Kevin Pryor. Police are continuing to urge anyone who has information on Mr Pryor's movements in the past few weeks to get in touch.
