Operation Fortress: City's fight against drug crime

Over the last six months Hampshire Constabulary have been carrying out one of its biggest campaigns ever to fight drug crime in Southampton.

Yesterday, seven people were arrested in a day of police raids across the city to crack down on the supply of drugs.

Since its launch in May, Operation Fortress, a campaign to combat drug-related violence in Southampton has seen more than 150 arrests and £150,000 worth of drugs and cash taken off the city's streets.
