5,000 new jobs could be created after a number of firms in East Kent were approved for a Government-backed loan scheme.
Companies in Thanet, Canterbury, Shepway and Dover can apply for an interest-free loan from a grant of £35 millio. Qualifying businesses must use the money to expand and take on staff.
